Attempting to add intervals outside of highest note placement allowed by MuseScore causes crash.
I recently learned of the interval function within MuseScore. Typing "Alt+Number(1-9)" adds that interval above the original note. However, MuseScore has a limit to how high you can place notes, and the Alt+Number interval function can bypass that. However, then MuseScore doesn't know what to do with this note above the limit, and promptly crashes.
Please fix,
Ethan

Which version? Can you attach an example?
I'm pretty sure this bug indeed existed but got fixed so doesn't happen in the current version, 2.2.1

This one I guess (fixed in 2.3 and master): #271325: Adjusting a note outside the range of a piano causes a crash when the piano keyboard is visible.

That's not the one I thought of, but possible the OP meant that.
I actually thought of #81731: Crash when repeatedly pressing Shift+A , fixed in 2.0.3

Right, same as Shift+A
The short answer is that if you have the virtual piano showing it is a known bug in version 2.2.1 that has been fixed for version 2.3 when it comes out. If you do not have the virtual piano displayed when it crashes, please explain what causes it and which version of MuseScore you are using.
