When you loading sfz, there is "Loading..." progress bar which prevents actions in main window. Could you record the video record or gif record (I used MonoSnap for it on Mac).

I don't know what happened at the time of filing (perhaps overwhelmed with reports, etc), but I seem to have missed some steps. Here are the correct ones:

  1. Open attached score (produced in 2.3).
  2. 'View'>'Synthesiser'>'Zerberus'>'Add'.
  3. Choose something (e.g. Salamander retuned) and 'Load'.
  4. 'View'>'Mixer'.
  5. Change the sound to that of the SFZ.
  6. 'Play'.
  7. 'MuseScore'>'Quit MuseScore'.
  8. 'Don't Save'.

Result: Crash.

Note: Also reproducible in a new score.

Using MuseScore 2.3 and 3.0 Nightly cb43b90 - Mac 10.11.6.
