Bluetooth Problems on Macbook

Hello. I have connected bluetooth headphones to my Macbook. I am having problems with playing the music in Musescore through the headphones. They work fine because my Macbook will play anything else through the headphones, however when playing music in Musescore, it will not play anything through the bluetooth headphones. I understand that this is a free service that depends on sponsorships and donations, and I am HIGHLY appreciative of your services and development over the years (I've been using your software for almost 10 years now). It is just slightly disappointing that we can't listen to our music through the bluetooth headphones. Is there anyway for this to come about?
