Music examples in MuseScore
Hello.
I have again checked the music examples that are created together with the installation of MuseScore.
I am not sure what is the point of having these examples when they really are not done properly from the standpoint of music notation.
The examples shipped with the installation should show the excellence in notation within MuseScore.
Otherwise it has a kind of "amateurish" appearance. When I opened MuseScore for the first time and opened these examples, I believed that MuseScore is not capable doing anything more except what is shown.

An issue is that these were created with earlier versions of MuseScre then never updated, so they may not display completely correctly any more. But as the author of the ones included with 2.3.2, I'm curious, which examples specifically, in which version of MuseScore, do you feel are not done properly, and in what specific ways?
Aside from the font for the style indication top left not displaying correctly for "All Dudes" and "Triumph" and a couple of similar glitches elsehwere, these look correct to me, exactly as I would have engraved them in the published fakebooks I have edited professionally. They do show off quite well what MuseScore can do in the area of lead sheet engraving, although I would agree it seems odd to include two of these and almost nothing else.
Reunion has an issue with the placement of the pedal lines and tempo markings, but otherwise looks right to me as well. All of these problems are due to them not having been updated since their initial creation, but those issues are also easy to fix, so thanks for reminding us!
Meanwhile, if you'd like to contribute other examples, feel free to post suggestions! I think there should be examples of other types of music - choral scores, instrumental ensembles, pop sheet music, etc.

Hello. The files are found in 2.3.2 in all OS variants.

Thanks for the suggestions! As I anticipated, almost all of the issues you are seeing are the known result of the glitches I mentioned where manual adjustments didn't import correctly. Pretty much everything you suggest is already fixed for 3.0, although to be sure we will need to do another pass before release, since there are a number of manual adjustments we will need to re-apply there as well.

Anyhow, I strongly urgy to make nice looking examples, it is pity that it looks so right now.

Reunion was originally created to be the demo score for MuseScore 1.2, so quite a long time ago. Since then, I had already updated it for 2.0 and uploaded it to musescore.com but I guess those changes were never included with the program. I have to confess I didn't even remember these scores were still included at all, so thanks for bring this to our attention! And yes, we will want to improve things for 3.0.
Here is Reunion as it is supposed to look. I had fixed all the import glitches and made a few other improvements to take advantage of things 2.0 made easier or that I learned in the intervening years. As you can see, much better, although still a few places where we could discuss your suggestions.

Great. No problem. I think it is important for new users to see a good quality output.
The last measure should be rewritten in another way.
There would be great that MuseScore has very advanced notation examples in order to show the muscles.

I'll take suggestions on the last measure :-). Given that the original intent was to show off as many features as I could, the things I don't want to sacrifice as the cross staff notation, the small notes, or the ottava...
