Can you attach a file that makes it crash and tell us which version it was made in? I just loaded a score with 858 measures and 42 staves created with 2.3.2. It's incredibly slow, but doesn't crash.
After further testing perhaps it did. I decided to play the score then close it. I had imported it from version 2.3.2 and chose discard when it asked what to do with the closed score. This led to a crash.

In order to investigate and fix the problems, we would need people to attach the actual scores and steps to reproduce the crashes.
