If you're talking about 3.0 Beta (which you rather should in the Developemt forum): yes, know issue, see #109941: Regression—playback in single part instead plays full score
And this is a feature not a bug - you now have the choice of hearing the full score or the part. Full score by default, part if you solo it in View / Mixer. It's conceivable we might change the default to be back the way it was in 2.x if enough people really prefer that.
