When you click an item in the palette to drag it to the score, the icon for the dragged item is in a different relative position to the cursor depending on where you click in the cell. The video in https://musescore.org/en/node/278767#comment-874485 shows this very clearly.

Ok, it is still possible to drag the element. Drawing is far from ideal, but dragging works as expected, so should be fixed, but we have more important stuff to address.
