I fond this with an invisible dynamic and discovered it also applies to staff text. Both of these can greatly affect playback and should be copied when they're invisible.

Can you explain what you mean? I tried adding a staff text to a measure, making it invisible, then copying and pasting the measure, it worked as expected. Also copying/paste the staff text itself worked.
Yet another continuous view bug. Switching to page view fixes the problem. I'll guess that reopening the score would also fix it. I tried it in a few scores that I had in continuous view before reporting it.
I still can't reproduce, even in Continuous view. Can you please give precise step by step instructions?

To reproduce
create a score
change to continuous view
add staff text
make text invisible with v
copy text
past it somewhere else
result: you can't see it until you switch to page view
It works every time.
I just realized I'm using a nightly from 2 days ago OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.4370, revision: 29165bb, but I don't remember any PRs that should affect this.
Hmmm. I can reproduce on beta, but not on a build I made today. So I guess maybe it was fixed in the last few days, but I don't see any obvious candidates either. So I'll leave this open and hope to get confirmation from others that recent builds fix it.
