Open an orchestral score, say. In "Format > Style > Measure Numbers" tick the "All Staves" option and exit.

Result: Measure numbers collide with the left-hand connecting lines of systems.

True. The default position for measure numbers in the style settings is designed to work well only when used above the top staff. When used with all staves, the style setting should probably be altered to push the left or right. Right now it's up to the user to do this. Eventually the autoplace algorithm could probably do it.
