How to Note input octaves with keyboard input

I use the keyboard to input notes in input mode. I would like to input all notes in octaves, i.e, if I input a middle C in treble clef as a quarter note, I would like to simultaneous have a C5 quarter note, one octave higher input at the same time....

so I would like a melody line with notes in one staff that are one octave apart.

Is this possible?
