While editing a bass chart, I was trying to delete the 8 bars at the beginning of the attached chart, and when I tried, the bass clef changed to treble clef and all the notes moved down very low to indicate the actual base notes.
Here are screenshots of before and after, also showing what command I use to delete the bars.

Work around does exist - change the clef and all the notes go back to the normal bass position but it is a bug in any case.

Try to drag and drop the image from the explorer (or similar) and insert it (whithout any preview of your comment).
I believe it is a known issue, reported elsewhere.
Mhh, maybe not, I think I meant #278773: Instrumentdialog - clef of first additional staff should always be instrument standard, which is different
