Don't do anything new. And search for the old file. It probably is in the cache memory somewhere. You may be able to retreive it.
If you can't find it anywhere else, look for the last backup that should have automatically been created. See https://musescore.org/en/node/52116. As advised, try to find the replaced score first.
If you are on Windows and using default settings, then OneDrive should automatically be keeping backups of each version of a file you save. So if you to the OneDrive site you should be able to access previous revisions.
