How achieve this triplet quaver effect?
I'm transcribing a score with this:
Clearly the minim with tremolo is a shorthand way of repeating the opening two sets of triplets.
I cannot find a way to replicate this in MS (v3) and have it play back correctly. Best I've achieved is this, which sounds right but is visually more clunky:
Or of course I could just keep with long-hand writing out all the triplets.
Any ideas?

The handwritten copy omitted the required dot after the minims. If you select the first quaver in the triplet and press 6. it will be correctly notated.

Thanks, I didn't quite understand your suggestion, but I got there once the 3 triplet crotchets occupying the second half of the bar were turned into a dotted minim, then I added the eight-note tremolo, and now it plays right.

Sorry, I didn't think about the tremolo disappearing when you changed the duration of the note.
