Clicking on "Symbols" displays all symbols: the "All symbols" category is exactly the same and could be removed.

"All Symbols" is the category the Symbols palette shows by default, you can select other categories, but without the "All Symbols" you wouldn_t be able to switch back

  1. Open the symbols master palette (Z).
  2. Click on the "Analytics" category, say.
  3. Now click back on "Symbols."

All symbols are on display again.
