File type issue with MS 2.0 / 3.0

I downloaded MS 3, used it for a few days, and have now removed it pending improvements (see my previous post re: losing work). I still have MS 2. But now, when I click a MS file in Windows Explorer, even a file made with MS 2, I get this pop-up (see attached). MS 3 isn't even on my system anymore! And there's no option for MS 2, which IS on my system!

So I went to "Choose default apps by file type," clicked "Choose default apps by file type," and found .mscz. However, Windows doesn't show a default file type, nor the option to "Choose a default" (see attached).

How do I get MS 2 back again, with all its functions, for the time being?

Uninstall MuseScore 2 and reinstall it, that probably is the easiest method to get all the file type associations right again

FWIW, you can have 2 & 3 simultaneously, I recommend it for getting the best of both worlds. You can still set the file associations to make 2 the default if you wish.
