MuseScore ignores repeat measure after changing endings; MuseScore STILL does not repeat a score when the repeat measure is properly implemented when using two endings.
Malfunctioning on repeat:
- Add first and second ending
- Add repeat measure on first ending
- Play score
- Repeats on first ending and plays thru second ending
4. Replace endings with any ending
5. Rename the endings to the correct endings
6. Play score
- Completely ignores the ending and the repeat after the first ending
7. Replace endings with correct numbers with zero modification to the numbers
- Completely ignores any repeats and endings
Also, for the love of god, guys, fix the ending repeat errors (playing thru both endings without repeating from the first ending and then repeating the first system). This has been a major issue since MuseScore 1.0, and other music composition software already has this correctly implemented. I should NOT have to incorrectly implement the end repeat measure on the first ending in order to force MuseScore to play the endings and the repeat correctly. It is 2019 and this issue should have never existed, from the start.

The attached score playe exactly like it should. Even when replacing the notes in any 1st volta with a repeat measure sign.
Please attach a ascore that shows the problem
Unfortunately, I am a putz and I just found out that I did not have "play repeats" enabled (which was pretty much disabled, unknowingly, on accident), which explains why it was completely ignoring all repeats. I feel utterly bad for bickering about that, now. However, I still have an issue where if you put the end repeat on the second ending of a system, it ends up playing the first ending and completely ignoring the second ending, and then moves on to the next page/system. Attached is the modified .mscz file of the same score, where the second system exemplifies this problem.
I say this, because usually I compose bagpipe music where the first and second endings sit together and play properly (in any bagpipe playing software) when the end repeat bar is at the very end of the system (since they are generally written at four measures per system, with the exception of having two endings in some tunes), and I am under the assumption that that is the way end repeats should be written after the last ending of any part of any tune or song.
Of course that won't work, you're using it wronly.
I'm not sure how one would incorrectly implement the end repeat via using the second ending of the system to implement the end repeat.

Every volta but the last needs to end with an end repeat barline.
That is just how western music notation works.
