File saving - locations and corruption
I'm very new to Musescore and hoplessly ignorant about music but quite familiar with PC software.
Is there any guidance on file-naming and saving because I am experiencing files refusing to save (on my laptop) and messages about file corruption on my desktop. Clearly, I'm doing something wrong, but what?
Having save a file in what I thought a reasonable location, the next time I try to open it I get a "file cirrupted" message with a question about whether I want to "ignore" this. I wouldn't "ignore" such a message in any other kind of software, but I have no idea what else I can do.
I'm using version 3.0 which seems a bit flakier than the earlier version, but that's just my impression.

You'd need to ignore that message otherwise the file won't load) and then fix those corrutions, the earlier, the better. See https://musescore.org/en/node/54721 for hints about this

Thanks very much Jojo. Since this file was imported from a PDF created elsewhere, would it be simpler for me to reimport but this time into Musescore 3.0?

PDF import is known to create corrupted files at times. And currently it is known to be broken...

If it is known to be broken, is there an issue tracker # we can use to keep tabs on the issue?

It is a MuseScore.com issue, so not (to be) recorded here on musescore.org

But a link to Improving MuseScore.com would help, and get people to the right place.
The only reference I found to it not working was

I tested the import myself, and it works fine (generating a _v3 .mscz)
