1) Create a score got Guitar + TAB
2) Open the note editor
3) Attempt to notate an open E (the space below the 3rd leger line below the staff)
4) Unable to create this note

Attach the score (the .mscz file) so we can examine it. MuseScore has no problem reported doing this.
