Project
MuseScore 3.0.1 is installed in an OpenSuse Tumbleweed OS (Qt Version 5.12.0)
1.) Select in Format > Page Settings > Page Size > A4 or A3 or any different to Letter format.
2.) Export PDF File or Print MuseScore Page on an A4 printer
3.) Obviously page settings are not applied to the output device. PDF Export has Letter Format (see Attachment). Result on a printer device also like on a Letter Format, that crops about 15 mm of the page header.
On a Windows 10 System it works. Maybe its a problem with the Linux System (Open Suse Tumbleweed) and its PDF engine and printer ps engine, as well.

Used Qt Version added
I have the same issue with MuseScore 3.0.2, installed also on OpenSuse Tumbleweed with actual updates.
My Workaround is: Upload the *.mscz - file to https://musescore.org/ and download afterwards the online created *.pdf-file, may be subsequent for each extract if you have an free account.
NOTE: Online PDF Generator uses different fonts. For example, the character "Coda" is displayed as a circled "72". However, this is another problem.
The PDF attached to the initial post doesn't open in Adobe Acrobat Reader, it reports an error 14. As per https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2351596 this indicates a corrupt PDF
This had come up before in https://musescore.org/en/node/281275

Should be fixed in Qt 5.12.1 and a duplicate of the above mentioned issue
Fixed with rollout of Qt 5.12.2 *
Thanks for help and workarounds, meanwhile.
