Significant Bug: Breaths & Pauses accumulate offset
I'm using version 3.0.2.5315 (just upgraded from MS2)
When you place a breath mark or similar item from Breaths & Pauses and change the X-offset to a nonzero value (e.g. by dragging it) the listed offset seems to accumulate with every "redrawing" update. The result is a rapidly growing and score-breaking space around the mark, forcing you to delete it and not use any offset.
Almost anything triggers this accumulation, from toggling visibility checkmarks to placing notes to using the undo command. If you really want to see it take off, just drag a notehead around. This behavior can be reproduced on an empty score by placing a breath mark, changing the x-offset, then doing anything that modifies the score layout.
Comments
Indeed, this has been observed elsewhere (see for instance #283690: For breath marks, automatic placement is still active, although disabled), but I don't think there is a specific issue in the tracker for just this. Could you create one (eg, by using Help / Report a Bug)?
Thanks for #284046: Breaths & Pauses accumulate offset
