I asked how I could change the colour of the header and footer in MuseScore 3. Since being notified that this issue had been fixed, I have continued to use Version 2.3.1 because I have been unable to find how to do it in Version 3.0.2.20666. I am pleased to say I have now found out how to use Templates but any I had created in Version 3 will not open in Version 2. I have to work around that. It is indeed sadly so that a 3.x score will not work in 2.x (or 1.x, for that matter). It is just not possible to maintain backwards compatiblity between major versions.
Thanks for the feedback, anyway, but please don't use the Issue Tracker to ask a support question next time. There is a forum for that here: https://musescore.org/en/forum/6. The issue tracker is for reporting demonstrable bugs so the developers can fix them instead of hunting for them ;-)
