Musescore 3 upgrade February 28th. WATCH OUT!!
Today I was getting an idea to develop on musescore 3 for my students. An alert box came up offering the latest upgrade for musescore 3. Since clicking to install it has crashed and I can't access the compositions. It continues to do this, even after restarting my MacBookPro.
This is a major disaster!!! What kind of upgrade does this?! I trashed the preferences in the hope that the new program would reset them but this did not solve the problem.
Is this problem only occurring on Mac systems?
Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, if you search the forum you'll see this is a known problem affecting certain Mac users. Workaround is simple - just open MuseScore by double-clicking a score in Finder rather than using the program icon. Then you can disable the Start Center (the actual source of the issue) in Edit / Preferences and start normally after that.

This version(Musescore 3 upgrade February 28th. for Mac) had some problem actually.
"Start Center" is the reason why cause the crash.
Solution:
1. Open a exist .mscz file. (Direct click .mscz file. Do not click MuseScore 3 icon).
2. Disable "Start Center" (in pull menu "MuseScore/Preference") .
