After updating to MuseScore 3.0.4 the app quit immediately upon opening and reaching the start page. This was partially fixed by opening the preferences after the "reopen last session" dialog appeared and de-selecting the start menu in preferences.

This problem only appears to affect the start page but is critical because it is hard to work around it before MuseScore quits.
