The fact that you can't change location of a chord by pressing X sounds like an oversight. It has everything you need already built in, like the position field in the inspector.

Yes. I fixed the title to clarify it also.

You're right that everything is already built in :) There was also already code to flip positioning for text too, it just didn't apply to chord symbols.
