Score Bloat in Version 3
Please find attached (1) a version 2.3.2 score formatted nicely to three pages, with reasonably large, readable lyrics and chord symbols; and (2) my best attempt to get the same score down to three pages in MS version 3.
Importing the MS2 score Into MS3 increases its page length from three to six pages. Selecting all measures and attempting to decrease the Layout Stretch produces no change. So to get the score down from six pages to three in MS3, I took the staff space scaling down to 0.964mm. I then increased the size of the lyric font as large as I could without causing the length of the score to go back up over three pages. I did the same with the chord symbols.
As you can see, the MS2 version of the score is far more readable in the three-page format then the MS3 version.
I also tried unsetting the Automatic Placement property on the text to see if I could manually twiddle the thing into shape. That produces what can only be described as a disaster.

Reduce the space below lyrics to its default of 2 rather then your setting of 4 and you get the score even denser

Sorry, but I am unclear where to find the adjustment you are suggesting. Under Format/Style/Lyrics there is a Y coordinate setting for "Position Below", but it doesn't seem to be having any effect on the placement of anything.
"Min. bottom margin", not "Position below"

Ah, fantastic. That one works miracles! Many thanks.
