Crash on startup after updating to V3.0.4

I have a mac and am running macOS Mojave 10.14 (18A391), not the most recent version but I don't have enough storage to update so I can't try that potential fix out.

I don't know if others have this but here's how to reproduce it:
1) I skipped a version before updating to 3.0.4
2) When I open it, I see:
1. the splash screen
2. the main window appears
3. the document creation/opening screen pops up and stays for a split second before:
4. it crashes and closes all musescore windows
3) I tried just reinstalling musescore with a fresh download but that didn't fix it.
4) I also tried a reboot.

I attached the report (crashInfo.txt) that my mac gave after (very helpfully) informing me that musescore had crashed.

EDIT: I rolled back to 3.0.3 and that works fine so I have a temporary solution.
