Is there a way to make dynamics visable in an MSCZ file that was created by converting a MIDI file? I'm trying to get rid of the hidden dynamics?

Without seeing the midi file file it's difficult to say. Please attache this file.
edit: btw. I'm not familiar with midi files, but you'll see where the velocity changes inside the inspector of an imported midi file and have to insert the dynamics individually.

I converted this file from a Virtual sheet music midi file with Musescore 3 and I want to get it louder but can't. I like adding a leadin and then resave it as a midi file to play along with it on my Disklavier.

A brief explanation. The notes can have velocities (volumes) set individually either by Midi or another user in MuseScore. When this happens, any such notes ignore all dynamic marks. The link explained how to undo this so dynamic marks will work.

I wondered what on earth “velocities” are. Now I have a better understanding of what’s going.

MIDI started out with keyboards, and there the velocity (or speed) you press a key determines the volume.
