I use an Apple Mac computer. I have to reinstall the .dmg install app every time I want to use Muse Score!. Has anyone experienced this and know what the solution is so it remains installed on my computer? I've installed programs before and not had this problem!

You say you "have to" reinstall every time - why? Do you get some sort of error message when you try to run MuseScore without reinstalling and this error message leads you to believe reinstalling is the answer? Or maybe you're just having trouble finding the program icon? Or something else?

Thank you for your questions! I apologize for not replying sooner. I keep the installation app on my desktop: MuseScore-3.0.4.dmg. When I need to use MuseScore, first I search for the application on my computer. Nowhere to be found. Then, I select the .dmg file, it goes through the install process, and then the program opens. I can work in it until I quit out of it, and then next time have to go through the same process again. I'm keeping the .dmg file so that I won't have to download it again! It's the oddest thing.

I have a similar issue. I have OS 10.14.4 installed. I cannot install Muse Score 3. When I try I get a short cut, in the applications, to the downloaded dmg file (in downloads), which if I delete the shortcut no longer works so I have to re-download and start again. This happened when I upgraded to Muse Score 3.

That's exactly what I am dealing with, too. I keep the installation app on my desktop: MuseScore-3.0.4.dmg. When I need to use MuseScore, first I search for the application on my computer. Nowhere to be found. Then, I select the .dmg file, it goes through the install process, and the program opens. I can work in it until I quit out of it, and then next time have to go through the same process again. I'm keeping the .dmg file so that I won't have to download it again. It's the oddest thing. I just replied to Roy Hutchinson. Hoping there is a solution to this.
