Instrument changes override part name on the score

In the staff/part properties, you can change the part name of an instrument. In my case, I changed the xylophone to say "Percussion 4" since there will be instrument changes on that part. However, when it switches to glockenspiel, the next page on the score says "Glock." instead of "Perc. 4" like I instructed it to. The same happens when it switches to triangle, then back to xylophone. "Perc. 4" only shows before the first instrument change. I'd like a way to keep it consistent throughout.
