Can I get very small measure width for multimeasure rests?

i am trying to get really narrow measure width for multimeasure rests. I was able to do it in MuseScore 2 by repeatedly "reducing stretch", but in MuseScore 3.0 it seems as though 2.0 sp is the narrowest allowed. I tried reducing stretch , but could not get it any narrower. I tried to change the "minimum measure width" to 1.0 sp, but was unsuccessful.

(I really want to upgrade to MuseScore 3, but first I am trying to my scores to look as nice (to my liking) as in the old version. Otherwise I will end up maintaining duplicate sets of scores in old and newer version and hope that the old version will never be discontinued.)

The attached score from Romance for Violins Number 2 is the "tenor steel drum" (soprano) line. Everyone knows that the tenor steel drums are silent for the first 4 measures, so a tiny multimeasure rest is totally adequate and takes less space and looks neater to me. Is there any way I can get it to a tiny width the way I had it in MuseScore 2?

My PR should help indeed, in a couple of ways. For one thing, the default won't be as wide, and for another, stretch will be more effective.

I would note that even without my change, though, you can get your score looking pretty much the same in 3.0.5 as in 2.3.2. Instead of decreasing stretch on the mmrest, increase it on the other measures.
