When working on multiple musescore files at once, each of roughly two pages and five staves, opening a large file from an older version of musescore directly from a download on google chrome, it opens a completely new instance, and the original instance crashes.

  1. Open a few files in musescore.
  2. Download an uncompressed mscz file from an older version of Musescore (pre-3.0) from Google Chrome.
  3. Open the file directly from Chrome.
