Win XP MS ver1.3

Does not copy correctly. I know some of this has been mentioned before. Dynamics, slurs(sometimes) do not copy file to file, or staff to staff. When copying file to file, it 'may' shift one part a meas. or 1/2 meas forward, some parts it 'may' add a 1/4 or 1/8 rest to the following meas.( depends on meter). You cannot copy but small portions of the score at a time(maybe 4-5 score parts, maybe 4-5 meas.) It changes blank meas. rests to 'measured rests' then 'may' add an errant 1/4 or 1/8 rest to following meas. Sometimes you can cut the extra material, sometimes not. Then you have a meas. with just a 1/4 or 1/8 note rest and it will not allow any thing to be added. Only way to clear this is to delete the meas from the score, including all the finished parts, then add a new meas back in add start again. What a waste of time.

It helps if you can post a *specific* problem you are having - a sample score, say what you are tryign to copy and where you are trying to copy to. But also note when reporting problems, that version 2.0 is currently in development and is a *huge* improvement in virtually every imaginable way. Before reporting a problem with 1.3, you should consider trying the behavior out in a Nightly build (see Downloads link in menu at right) of the experiment development version that will eventually (soon) become 2.0 to see if the problem still exists. With respect to copy & paste specifically, I think you'll find that most things behave more as you would like. no more converting empty measures into "regular" rests, more items copy by default, there are no options to prevent certain items from copying, also the ability to copy certain elements like lyrics without needing to copy the notes, also many bugs with copying and pasting of multiple voices fixed. But if you have a *specific* case where copy & paste does not work as expected in the current Nightly build, now would be a fantastic time to report it.
