Audio Crashes Several Measures after Playing

Either immediately or a few measures in, my sound slows down becomes so distorted that I have to stop playing it because it way too bad. I cannot describe how to recreate the issue but I have played around with I/O under references to see if it was an issue, as well as adjusted settings under synthesizer.. I have also deleted and re-uploaded musescore 3. My OS is Windows 10 Home on a Lenovo ideapad 330s. I'm not a computer expert so please describe any solutions you have. Thank you.
