So, in MuseScore, on an instrument with multiple staves (e.g. piano), notes can be written on one of its staves and, using CTRL+SHIFT+UP or CTRL+SHIFT+DOWN, moved so that they appear on one of the other staves in the same instrument (though the notes are still considered part of their original staff). However, when I did this with tied notes, the tie didn't move with the notes but stayed on the original staff instead. Although its positioning was corrected to reflect the lines the notes were on and their stem directions, the tie stayed on the original staff. (You might want to take a look at the annotated screenshot below to get a better idea of what that sentence is getting at.) It didn't matter what order I did them in — tie the notes and then move them, or move the notes and then tie them — I got the same result.
Everything plays properly, it just displays wrong.
