- From score “Nocturnes, Op.9 (Chopin, Frédéric) No.2 - Violin & Piano”, select a fingering -> inspector -> “Centre text on reference point” -> “S”;
- Top menu “Format” -> “Save Style…” -> as “HD(100%Scale).mss”;
- Open score “2-207 A SPRING-TIME IDYL.” -> “Format“ - > “Load Style…” -> “HD(100%Scale).mss”, fingering “Centre text on reference point” setting was not saved.

I can confirm that text alignment setting is not saved to the MSS file. Probably this got missed when the alignment fields got combined a few months back.
But I am having trouble following the steps in your example. Fingering already defaults to center. In fact, we do some special processing of fingering alignment to be able to handle the different types of fingering, so it might be we need to disable some types of user adjustments, but right now, I can't see why you aren't already seeing those fingerings centered.
