Piano dynamics
I am having difficulty maintaining a constant dynamic separately on the two piano staves. i thought that once a dynamic had been set on one stave it would remain constant independently of the other stave until changed but this is not my experience. Can anyone help please?

There are things you can do to affect this. Attach one of your problem scores and tell us where it's not acting right.
By default a dynamic applies to the entire instrument. You can change it to apply to just the staff or the entire system, via the Inspector.
