Changing the size of the notes requires changing the size of everything. In the menu Format->Page settings... increase the scaling.
For the lyrics, you can use the inspector (press F8 to see it) change the display to what you like. To the right of each setting there is an S that will turn black if you changed that setting. Press the S to Set the style for all lyrics.

Thank you, Mike320. I choose all (cntl a) and was able to enlarge everything. One follow up question. Is there a way to put a whole line of lyrics in Bold?

If you used page settings, pressing ctrl+a isn't necessary, it just scales everything if you have it selected or not.
Make whole line of lyrics bold? Do you mean an entire verse? It depends upon which verse and how many verses.
In Format->Style... Choose Text style from the list. On the right there will be a list of text types. There are two lyric types, Lyrics Odd line and Lyrics Even line. If you want all even numbered verses to be bold, then change the style for Lyrics Even line and so on. Note that this will affect verses 2, 4, 6...
If you have many verses and only want one verse to be bold, the right click any word in the verse and choose Select>More... Check the box that says Same subtype (the verse number will be listed in the box next to it) and in same staff if applicable. In same voice probably is not necessary and in same system will make ONLY the current line of lyrics to be selected not the entire verse (this may actually be what you want). When you click OK you will have all of the lyrics in that verse selected and you can change it in the inspector.

I was able to increase and bold exactly as I wished. thank you. BTW, My "Inspector" seems to be on a break. The only choices there are color, horizontal and vertical offset, and choosing the line (odd, even, fingering, etc). The only other box is "Reset text to Style" which I am hesitant to touch as I do not know what it will reset. I can go to the Style tab, click on odd numbered lines, and then adjust the font size and bold if I like. but Inspector just did't do it. I wonder if you have an older or newer version.

There are bold labels you can click that will expand options for most items selected.
