Question about display in Mixer.

• Jun 14, 2019 - 10:40

I tried sound fonts many times.
In Synthesizer I deleted some fonts and now only one(for ukulele) is saved.
Whenever I open my score,Mixer shows as follows.

If you really only have the Ukelele soundfont available, then what do you expect MuseScore to use for the other instruments?

I'm sorry, but I fail to understand what you want.
That picture shows you have a score with two instruments in it (which is unrelated to what soundfonts you have loaded), namely one called "Guitar" and another one called "???[TAB]"

It also shows you that the Guitar instrument is patched to the sound called "-Ukelele stereo[Ziya]" and thus will be played back with that sound (this is the part that relates to which soundfonts you have).

Guitar as an instrument is shown because you've added it to your score.

When you create a score choose ukulele (not guitar) from the Instruments list. Then it will display correctly in the Mixer.
Since you already show 'guitar' as your chosen instrument, you need to change it to ukulele in the score.
See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/staff-part-properties#change-instru…
Then ukulele will show in the Mixer

Regarding the soundfont(s)...
If you are using MuseScore strictly for ukulele, then that's all you need -- i.e., that ukulele soundfont.

But...
If you wish to hear other instruments, you need another soundfont (like MuseScore_General.sf3) which supports more instruments - i.e., General MIDI sounds.
See:
https://www.midi.org/specifications-old/item/gm-level-1-sound-set

Soundfonts loaded into the Synthesizer are available for use in the Mixer:

So... having both soundfonts, you can have your 'special' ukulele Mixer Patch, plus all the other (default) instrument sounds if they are needed.

To add one small thing to what Jm6stringer said, you should have the MuseScore_General.sf3 listed first in your synthesizer so if you decide you want to play a score with something besides the Ukulele it will have a better chance of the correct instrument sound. When the Ukulele-Hedsound-com.sf3 is first, every instrument will sound like a ukulele.

To assign the sound in the mixer, select the instrument, select the sound and scroll down until you find the correct sound.

Can I take-out(delete) the guitar,said "I added" ?
I have several scores made in the same way as atacched score.
If only one score I have,I'll make it from the beginning with instrument of guitar.
Hope you'll understand what I want.
PS: Solved for sound ,I could get nice one in another topic.
