Musescore has a problem playing back my score. Sometimes it cannot play at all, and most of the time it has serious stutters, and there will be a pop-up saying Musescore has stopped responding. Then, when I open it again, there were no changes saved. It is very annoying because I had to notate all the details again. Is there a way to fix that?

After a crash, the next time you start MuseScore it pops up a dialog asking if you want to recover your previous session. Say "yes" if you want to get your last changes back. If you've already answered no, you may still be able to get it back by reading https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
