OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.2.0.7407, revision: 38dab17
Open the attached score. (1) The canvas preferences should be default. But this nightly has rendered the background in a deep blue. (2) Also, if you inspect Preferences > Canvas, the settings for "Background" and "Paper are not default; they do not even match the actual settings in the document window. (3) In addition, the Canvas settings have been applied to the palette icons in error.

revert to factory settings, then check again, seems your settings are screwed up

After a reset to factory settings, the background has become black, rather than the expected light grey (everything else is OK).
Confirmed, default background now is black rather then white
Workaround is obvious...
