Articulations, dynamics and details DISAPPEARED
My articulations and ALL MY OTHER DETAILS disappeared from my score after I saved and re-opened it. My score had MANY DETAILS, including staccatos, slurs, accents, hairpins, dynamics, and tenutos. The time signatures disappeared too, and everything went into a mess. All the beams changed. From 12/8 (4 dotted crochet beats) changed to 4/4 (4 crochet beats). How do I change it back to normal? It is crazy to redo everything, all those hours of hard work. The version of MuseScore I am using is MuseScore 3. I updated MuseScore 2 to MuseScore 3, but it wasn't better, it is worse.

First things first. This might seem a very stupid question, but how sure are you that you've opened the most recent version of your score?
I've seen reports of entire score files becoming corrupted, but this is the first report ever about changing time signatures and losing specific elements.
Indeed, it seems most likely you simply opened the wrong version of the score. Please do a search of your computer for MSCZ files and you will likely find the correct version.
From your description, it almost sounds like you actually opened a MIDI file, not the actua score.
If you have trouble finding the correct version, can you attach the file you are trying to open, so we can see if there are any clues there?
The only time I ever heard of something similar happening was when Regroup Rhythms came out, though it didn't affect beaming from what I remember. Did you by chance use that tool? If you can find a different version look for the hidden backup according to https://musescore.org/en/node/52116.
