Swing only certain instruments
Is it possible to swing only certain instruments? E.g. I would like to have drums and electric bass in swing and percussion in even eights...

Yes, you can use a staff text and it's properties to set swing for just one staff

Even on 3.2? On Mint (32) the buttons seem inactive.

I'm confused on what your conveying. Could you explain more in-depth. I'm kinda new to musescore. Maybe give a step by step process.

But instead of adding a swing text from the palette, add a staff text, then go to its properties as described in above handbook page and change the swing settings

1) use Ctrl+T to add staff text saying "swing" to the staff you want to swing
2) right-click that text and choose Staff Properties
3) click the "Swing" tab
4) enable the swing and set it how you want
