Let there be a beam group of notes, and utilize a grace note which fits between them
The grace note should 'push' down the beam if it should so happen to reach that position, but it does not.

For the record, this isn't something autoplace does - beam position / stem length calculations are not part of the automatic placement. It's true that grace notes are not considered in the beam algorithm, but someday they should be.
