Where are you uploading it to? musescore.org doesn't allow you to make a score private, it sounds like you are uploading it to musescore.com. You cannot upload musicxml files there, you can only upload .mscz or .mscx files to musescore.com.
The problem is that when you just say "Musescore", the other person might think you meant any of the: "musescore software", "dot-org site (forum)", and "dot-com site (score sharing)".
When you specify "Musescore software", "musescore.org forum", "musescore .com site", it becomes clear what you are asking. And the answerer answers accordingly.

it says i can but I dont know how to get there.
If you mean import it into the MuseScore program then open it the file like you do an .mscz file and MuseScore will handle it like its own file.
Is this really an issue with the Mustaq Import plugin??
You can't upload musicxml files to musescore.com, it needs to be an mscz file.

I'm pretty certain that this isn't a Mustaq Import plugin issue (which isn't even available for MuseScore 3), so closing it. Reopen if I was wrong
