I've seen this bug. If my memory serves me correctly, it clears itself up when I save the score but I'm not sure about that. I also remember seeing it only on the barline that separates the first measure of a system from the second, not some random place like the barline between the 4th and 5th measures. The problem is I haven't been able to reproduce the bug on demand.
