3.3 B crashes on startup every other time.
OS: macOS 10.14, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.3.0.23559, revision: f94c273
All I have to do is close MS3B, and try to reopen it, and it crashes on startup, very scarily, every time. But all I have to do is try again, and it (usually) comes up correctly. Just now it crashed twice before coming up correctly.
I do not use the Start Center.
is this phenomenon known/understood?

Yes, probably understood and even fixed in later development builds and so (hopefully) in Beta 2, which may get released today
