Check of Updates pop up remains on the screen

Every time I open Musescore the "Check for updates automatically?" Pop up is displayed, and will not get off of the screen even when one of the selections has been made. It remains on the front of the screen. The only work around is to move it out of the way while I work, or move it onto a second screen while I use the program.
