Playback issues in MDL

Hello Musescore team. I love the program and have been writing with it on a 2018 MacBook Pro. The program runs pretty well but I get a lot of playback errors, especially when using MDL samples. Its quite frustrating because when listening, often times you don't hear what the piece is supposed to sound like because not all of the notes play back, or just get skipped. While this issue is minor, it does get frustrating. Also upon hitting the "Rewind to start position button", inconsistently a super loud shot will play out, and ive heard it pop a speaker in my headphones before (way louder than anything in the piece, and louder than the mixer settings are set to either. It sounds like a negative gain, snare line cranked to full volume, and speakers to full volume and it scares the crap out of me when it happens. Please and thank you for your help.
