How to change measure counts so repeated sections are not doubled
Hi All. I'm working on a piece with a large repeat. The first 46 measures are repeated, and my Musescore is counting all of those measures twice, so the bar after the repeat is measure 93. I'd like the bar after the repeat to be measure 47. How can I change this!? I don't remember this happening before, so maybe I've clicked a different setting accidentally? The repeat does fall in the middle of a measure, so I've reduced measure 46 to 3 beats (from 4) and "bar 47" to 1 beat, but clicked to add the single beat measure to bar 47. Maybe that has some bearing on this problem. Thanks for the help!

What you are describing shouldn't be happening. Perhaps you accidentally also set the "add to measure count" when you were reducing the measure duration? We'd need you to attach your score in order to understand and assist better.
