Musescore crashed and killed my happiness
I worked on that score for days, and musescore crashed this morning while I was working on it. Now when I try to open what I think is the correct score(it isn't titled what I titled it anymore, but that happens with a lot of my scores, they just become scRandomnumbersandletters) and the file says "cannot read file". I don't even know if it's the right file or not because it changed it's title. What do I do?

As you may see here that file is 0 bytes, so nothing to recover. It is an autosave file, you may still have a backup score, check https://musescore.org/en/node/52116

I have something that has 152 bytes, but it's a zip

open the zip and see the file inside. It has 0 bytes.
Whatever, even 152 bytes would be too small for a score, for an mscz files, which itself is a zip archive too
I believe you'll never find a score smaller than 1KB

Did you read the Howto I linked to above?
Same directory as the original score, same name, but starting with a dot, ending with a comma and being hidden

All of my scores change names at random times, this has been a problem for weeks now that I have just dealt with because it wasn't a big deal. I can't just search for the score starting with a dot and ending with a comma

These random names (starting witzh sc and ending with .mscz) are autosave files, usually leftovers from crashes. None of these are the 'real' scores, those have names you give them, usually defaulting to whatever the title is.

Okay, that makes sense. But I can't open any of the auto saved files either

There's no point in opening 0 byte files, I guess MuseScore crashed while writing those autosave files, probably because of a corrupt part. So probably 2 minutes after opening the score

Are you talking about opening the backup file? You have to remove the dot and comma before opening it in MuseScore (although I've already created a patch of opening backup files directly, but it's not yet merged).
